Chantelle is the kind of performer who can hush a buzzing room with just a few notes. Her warm, expressive vocals pull listeners in, holding their attention from the very first phrase. Whether she’s breathing new life into classic jazz standards or sharing one of her playful, heartfelt originals, she’s all about connection, craft, and a little bit of magic.

A true jazz enthusiast, Chantelle has a deep love for the Great American Songbook and a knack for storytelling that brings each song to life. Her performances range from charming and quirky to raw and thought-provoking — often all in one set.

She’s a regular on the festival circuit, having played at nearly all the major ukulele events across Australia, plus a handful of jazz festivals and community stages. Offstage, she’s a much-loved workshop presenter known for making musical learning fun, accessible, and inspiring.

Chantelle is joined by a rotating cast of stellar musicians, including Ricardo Vaveliuk on bass, improvisation maestros Bradley Potenzi (alto sax/clarinet) and Alistair Neil (trumpet). Depending on the gig, they are sometimes also joined by the incredible Jesse Ferlazzo (guitar) and a rotation of phenomenal drummers. Together, they deliver tight, exciting performances full of character and chemistry.

Based in Cranbourne West (southeast Melbourne) with her bass-player partner Ricardo and their two cats, Chantelle spends her time performing, teaching, and chasing down new adventures — preferably with a song on her lips and a smile on her face.
